The Challenge

Many leaders think coaching is about giving advice, fixing problems, or telling others what to do. But real coaching is different. It’s about creating a space where people discover their own insights — and grow because of it.

Our Approach

The Art of Being a Coach is a 14-week program designed for current practitioners of The MacklinConnection Method who want to step into the role of coach with clarity, purpose, and skill.

From the very beginning, you’ll be invited into The Arena — our live practice ground where coaches-in-training put theory into action, test themselves in real conversations, and receive feedback in community. It’s never too soon to start practicing, because coaching is learned on the field, not in the classroom.

Each participant also takes on a pro bono coaching client — someone new to them — as a way to practice the art of coaching in real life. This creates the courage and humility to discover what coaching really takes.
